Meet The Team

Patty Harper
Executive Director
Patty worked in several occupations in the Washington DC area before moving to Louisville in 1984. After raising her children, she began her career working with seniors at Home Instead Senior Care where she earned the Caregiver of the Year Award. Most recently, she worked for Atria Senior Living at the Springdale location as Director of their memory care unit. Working with the memory-impaired senior population has become her passion and she joined the Magnolia Springs team on August 2, 2010.

Mary Rucker
Director Of Community Relations
Mary has over 27 years of experience working with seniors. Mary started her career as a charge nurse with Episcopal Church Home and worked 10 years as an LPN. For the last 17 years of her career, Mary has been in the sales and marketing side of the health care business including a position in regional sales management with Curative Health Care Services, and six years as Senior Community Sales Director with Atria Senior Living.

Tarina Brown
Director Of Resident Services
Tarina Brown is a Registered Nurse with 15 years of experience in senior healthcare. Her career has encompassed several roles starting as a caregiver working directly with patients extending up to director roles. Her experience in different areas of senior care including skilled nursing, acute rehab, personal care and memory care allow her to navigate health needs,

Melissa Coughenour
Director of Memory Way
Melissa joined Magnolia Springs December 9, 2013 and brings 18 years experience in health care with her. She worked 10 years for an orthopedic practice in the south end of Louisville. She was employed by Vintage Care, Inc., a geriatric physicians group, for almost 7 years, and most recently worked for a local skilled nursing facility in the admissions department.

David DiSalvo
Director of Life Enrichment
David began working part-time for Magnolia Springs Louisville Activities Department in 2015. Becoming Director of Life Enrichment is his dream come true. David is a former computer programmer, systems analyst, Hospitality Business Manager, and high school Business Teacher. He has a BA degree in Computer Science (Bellarmine), an MBA degree (Sullivan), and a MAT degree (Spalding).

Jordan Holcomb
Director of Culinary Services
Jordan Holcomb came to Magnolia Springs Louisville in April 2018. His love of cooking and tasty food came from his experience at Magnolia Springs East where he started his career as a server in 2012. He mentored there under Chef Bob of the famous Pendennis Club and was instrumental in getting the kitchen in our Florence, Kentucky location up and running.

Nick Sears
Business Office Manager
Nick began working in assisted living facilities when he was a junior attending St. Xavier High School. His employment with Magnolia Springs began in 2011 serving in the dining room and eventually progressing into the Activities Department. Nick graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Business Administration Degree in May of 2014.

David Geoghegan
Director of Plant Operations
David comes to Magnolia Springs from Saint Matthews Imports where he worked for more than 35 years. David has a wide variety of mechanical and maintenance experience. He started as an ASE certified Master Mechanic working on all makes and models of cars. After several years, David entered the front office in charge of customer service and quality control. For the past five years, David was in charge of plant operations and keeping the building and equipment functioning properly.
