Meet The Team

Christina Hynes
Executive Director
My career began 17 years ago when I joined Magnolia Springs, formerly owned by Grandview Care, Inc. Over the past seventeen years, I have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to grow and transition through multiple roles within the same entity. With hard work and education, I was able to transition from administrative assistant in 2004 to accounting assistant, accountant and then staff accountant at the corporate offices over the next 10 ½ years.

Stacey Thompson
Director of Resident Services
Stacey began her career as a nurse in 2006 and has had a range of experience from working in an Emergency Department to Home Health. However, working with older adults has always been most gratifying.
In 2017, Stacey took the leap from direct care nursing into a leadership role for home health nursing. She found that being a leader and creating a team was challenging yet rewarding and fell in love with it.

Chris Barger
Director of Culinary Services
Chris began his career at Magnolia Springs in 2012 as a chef after graduating from Sullivan University for Culinary Arts. He studied under the Director of Food and Beverage and quickly rose to be the lead chef and soon after kitchen manager. During his time here at Magnolia Springs Chris has helped continue the service, hospitality, and culture that our community is all about, while dishing up many tasty treats along the way.

Taylor Murta
Director of Community Relations
Taylor Murta, a native Kentuckian, is the Director of Community Relations for Magnolia Springs Louisville and helps seniors and their families navigate senior living options. She brings with her a strong work ethic, an eagerness to learn, and a passion to serve our seniors. Taylor has been helping older adults hear better for the past nine years in her previous role as a Hearing Instrument Specialist.

Nick Sears
Business Office Manager
Nick began working in assisted living facilities when he was a junior attending St. Xavier High School. His employment with Magnolia Springs began in 2011 serving in the dining room and eventually progressing into the Activities Department. Nick graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Business Administration Degree in May of 2014.

Sheri Robinson
Director of Memory Care
Sheri Robinson joined Magnolia Springs Louisville in April 2022 as our Director of Memory Care. She has over 30 years of health care experience and earned her nursing degree from Ivy Tech University (Sellersburg, IN). Sheri was born in Maysville, Kentucky but has lived all over the country as her father transferred during his career in the U.S. Air Force.

Katie Mills
Director of Life Enrichment
Katie began working with Magnolia Springs in 2022. She graduated with a BA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Kentucky. She has a background in social work and is a former English as a Foreign Language teacher. She worked as an educator in Southeast Asia for two years before returning to Louisville to continue her career. Her experience in planning and organizing and passion for working with seniors, make her a great fit for the Life Enrichment Department.
